Website visitor analytics

When you open a page of this public website we record a page view so we can understand how the site is used. Each record contains:

• the page you opened and, if you arrived from another website, that website's address (without any search terms or query parameters);
• your IP address, and an approximate location derived from it — country, region and city only;
• your browser, operating system and device type (desktop, tablet or mobile), and your screen size if your browser reports it;
• whether you were signed in, and a random visitor identifier (see cookies below).

IP-based location is approximate — typically the city of your internet provider — and is never used to determine a street address or exact position. It is looked up on our own server; your IP address is not sent to any third-party location service. Automated traffic such as search-engine crawlers is not recorded.

Cookies

We use only first-party cookies, set by this website itself:

• Session and security cookies — required to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery.
• Visitor identifier (vln_vid) — a random value, kept for up to one year, that lets us count unique and returning visitors. It contains no personal information.
• Screen size (vln_scr) — your screen's width and height, used only in the visitor statistics.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. You can delete or block cookies in your browser; the website will continue to work.

Retention

Visitor analytics records are deleted automatically after 365 days.

Accounts and sign-in

If you create an account we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password, your role, and the date you accepted the terms. One-time sign-in codes are sent to your email and expire after a few minutes. For security we keep an activity log of sign-ins, failed attempts and account changes, including the IP address and browser used. Passwords and one-time codes are never recorded in that log.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact form — your name, email, optional phone and company, and your message — are stored so our team can reply, together with the IP address and browser used to send them.

Who can see this information

Visitor analytics and the activity log are visible only to the platform's Super Administrators. We do not sell or share this information with advertisers.

Location data attribution

Approximate location is based on the IP geolocation by DB-IP database, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
